Body Builder VS Calisthenics | 90 Degree Pushup Ft Larry Wheels
Hey fitness enthusiasts! Join Chris Heria for another special collab with powerlifting legend Larry Wheels. In this video, he will be showing Larry how to master the 90-degree push-up, a challenging yet rewarding exercise that combines strength, balance, and control.
So, basically, a 90-degree push-up is advanced calisthenics move where you push your body up until your shoulders are at a 90-degree angle to the ground, creating a perfect L-shape with your body. It is an incredible exercise for building upper body strength, core stability, and overall body control.
With that in mind, Chris has set a few goals to help Larry achieve a 90-degree push-up by breaking down the movement into separate components:
Goal No. 1: Lower from handstand to push-up position
Goal No. 2: Hold push-up position at the bottom
Goal No. 3: Press up from the bottom position
End Goal: 90-degree handstand push-up
Some more tips to help master this move: Always start with a proper warm-up to prevent injuries. Focus on maintaining good form throughout the exercise. Practice regularly to build strength and improve your technique. Do not push yourself too hard too fast. Progress at your own pace.
