This is the first calisthenic exercise that got Chris ‘off the ground’ literally because he held his entire body weight off the floor with just his hands and gave him a glimpse of what he could accomplish. It is a good skill to pick up as it is the gateway to developing the necessary strength for more challenging exercises like the 90-degree handstand or planche push-ups: both of which utilize the same 90-degree hold.
