There is only one way to find out if doing 100 push-ups a day will increase max reps: just get it done! And that is exactly what Chris is setting out to get the answer to. There are a few steps that need to be taken before beginning:
- Set a target goal, in this case, it is 100 push-ups and a realistic target date: for Chris, he decided on seven days.
- Establish a baseline, to chart your progression.
- Increase the amount each day and decrease the number of sets. Very important to make every push-up count by using full range of motion because good form is crucial.
Begin the task and stick with it!
