A brand-new year to work on getting that six pack you’ve always wanted! While there is nothing inherently wrong with wanting to look fit and developing a six-pack, the more important goal is to get fit. So, in the process of developing your six pack, hopefully you will be incentivized to add other workouts to your routine. Training for a strong core helps to stabilize your spine and your trunk while working out, strengthens your lower back, can reduce the risk of injury and ultimately work toward a healthier you.
It is not enough to train though; diet and nutrition is crucial. If you have excess body fat, it means being on a caloric deficit. If you need help getting started, check out the videos that Chris has on how to start eating healthily and any of his high protein, low calorie meal videos.
Getting enough sleep is crucial and going into deep sleep stage is important because when you are in the deep sleep stage, your body is repairing muscles and re-growing tissues, building bone and muscle and strengthening our immune system.
Here’s to a healthy and fit you!
