I Survived Being Stranded On A Deserted Island

It’s one thing to challenge yourself to test your limit, but it’s a whole different thing when someone else drops a challenge on you. The game is ON!!! The Diesel Brothers bet Chris and Aaron Brimhall a whopping $20,000.00 that they couldn’t get off Freemont Island before midnight. They have seven hours and a fifteen-mile hike ahead of them. Will they make it?

Follow Chris and Aaron as they traverse the terrain, made even more difficult with barest minimum of supplies and with the daylight fading. If they are to get any extra along the way, they are required to work for it by solving clues – and this could get messy real fast!

A little bit about Freemont Island – it is approximately 2,943 acres and is in the Great Salt Lake in northern Utah. Once privately owned, it is now under public ownership and has been donated to the State of Utah, Division of Forestry, Fire & State Lands in December 2020. Because of its remote location in the lake, it is accessible on foot or bike if the water level drops, by walking or cycling over a 6-mile sand bar; otherwise by boat, or by air. There is very little vegetation to provide shade and no source of potable water! WARNINGS:

Visiting Fremont Island is a serious undertaking and potentially dangerous.

Take plenty of drinking water as clean drinking water is not available on the island.

Cellular phone coverage on the island is not reliable.

Always tell someone where you are going and when you plan to return.

Wildlife, including coyotes, are found on the island, do not approach any animals.

Due to the remoteness of the location, emergency services would take considerable time to reach anyone in need of help.
