24 Hours Eating Calories VS Burning Calories

Posted by Corinne Chen on

In this video Chris challenges himself to only eat the exact number of calories that he could actively burn in a 24-hour period.   Why this challenge? The main reason is to demonstrate how much work it really takes to burn calories and perhaps cause you to think twice before reaching out for that bag of chips or candy bar.

He will focus on different types of training to show how they burn calories at varying rates.  Some of the exercises or routines may build more muscle and strength, for example weight training, but burn less calories; and some will burn more calories, like cardio exercises, but not necessarily build as much strength and muscle.

After the workout, he will check to see how many calories he burnt in the allotted work out time and then keep his meal within that number.  Keep in mind that the number of calories burnt will be based on your age, your gender, your weight and your muscle mass.

Follow Chris throughout the day to see the exercise routines and the meals he eats to meet this challenge and at the end of the 24 hours see where he is at with calories consumed versus calories burnt.

It is a lot easier to eat calories than it is to burn calories!  But staying with your fitness goals and eating healthy is so worth it!
