What Happens If You NEVER Take A REST DAY

By now, we all know how important REST DAY is in the world of any sport, calisthenics being no exception to the rule. So, Chris, always ready to take on a challenge, has taken it upon himself to see for himself just how long he can train for without taking a rest day. And not to make this experiment easy for him, he flies out to Sofia, Bulgaria to train with some of the strongest athletes and coaches in the world. The demand on his body is insane: from demanding calisthenics sessions to some serious gymnastic skills, he pushes himself to test both strength and recovery.

Five days of grueling work without a rest day and monitoring the toll on his body tells us how crucial it is that we pace ourselves and take time for our bodies to recover after working out. Over training to the point of physical and mental fatigue could lead to a plateau in your progress, a risk in injuries and poor sleep. So, pace yourself and discover your own limits!
